MEDIA STATEMENT FROM GEORGE R. CENTENO, CHIEF OF AIRPORT POLICE REGARDING HIS RETIREMENT

“When I accepted the position of Chief of Airport Police, I made it clear that I would be able to commit five years to the task. In keeping my promise to my family, at the beginning of 2012, I will retire from the Los Angeles World Airports Police Division, after 37 years of combined military and law enforcement service to this country and the state of California.  It has been an honor and great privilege to have served as Chief of Airport Police for the Los Angeles World Airports.”
